PA Hunter Education Classes - PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED.  Classes are limited seating.  To register call Deputy Wildlife Conservation Officer E. Richard Grassmyer at 717-667-3329.  If you get his recorder please leave your name and phone number and best time to contact you.

YOUTH FIELD DAY “PA TURKEY FEDERATION” – Pre-registration required – Grounds closed to normal use that day.  (SATURDAY, AUGUST 16)

If there is an event scheduled on a range that range is closed to all other use until the conclusion of the event.

Check our web site (mifflincosportsmens.com) frequently for updates and changes.

If gate is locked open check for poster on the lid that covers the lock to see what range or ranges are closed to normal use.  Work parties are scheduled when we have personnel available to do the work and for the most part are a spur-of-the-moment thing.  Your help is welcome and will help open the range quicker!

The rifle range seems to be closed early afternoon on Fridays on the day before the ground hog shoots.

THE FIVE STAND RANGE AND PAVILION IS NOT TO BE USED EXCEPT ON DAYS AND TIMES THAT IT IS SCHEDULED OPEN!  PERSONS FOUND TO BE USING THIS AREA WHEN IT IS NOT OPEN STAND TO LOOSE THEIR MEMBERSHIP FOR A PERIOD OF NOT LESS THAN ONE YEAR!

THERE IS A SHOTGUN PATTERING AREA NEXT TO THE HANDGUN RANGE.  THIS RANGE IS CLOSE TO HANDGUNS AND RIFLES THE TWO WEEKS PRIOR TO THE TURKEY SEASONS. SO THE SHOTGUN HUNTERS CAN PATTERN THEIR SHOTGUNS.

WHEN ON THE RIFLE RANGE USE THE SAFETY BUZZER AND FLAGS.  INSTRUCTIONS ARE POSTED AT EACH PAVILION!

!!!!IT WOULD BE WISE IF THERE IS NO ONE USING THE RANGE AND YOU ARE ALONE. TO POST SOME SORT OF SIGN SAYING YOU ARE UP AT 1000 YARD TARGETS AND WILL BE RIGHT BACK.
