SUMMARY:Open House for Veterans and First Responders
DESCRIPTION:WHEN: August 16\, 2026. Gates are open at 11 AM and shooting st
 arts at 1 PM\n\nWHERE: Mifflin County Sportsmen’s Association\, 401 Elle
 n Chapel Road\, Lewistown\, PA\n\nAdmission is free.  Food will be availa
 ble for purchase from Soxy’s.  We will provide hearing and eye protecti
 on.  Bottled water will be available for free.\n\nACTIVITIES:\n\n 	5 – 
 Stand: Groups of five will shoot starting at 1 PM on a first come first se
 rve basis. We have shotguns and ammo available\, or you can use your own s
 hotgun with target ammo (7.5 or smaller)\, Additional rounds are available
  for $10.\n 	Rifle Range: There will be a short class provided by Ghost Fi
 rearms Training in long range shooting that starts at 12. We will have one
  precision rifle available so you can test your ability out to 1\,000 yard
 s.  You can bring your rifle\, and we will confirm zero\, chronograph the
  velocity\, and give you holdover data.\n\nOTHER INFORMATION: \n\n 	Childr
 en must be over 12 years of age.\n 	Weapons must remain cased or on the ra
