There are several signs on the rifle range banning the use of 50 Cal ammunition on club owned steel targets.  The maintenance crew found this at 200 yards on Sunday.  This target had been tested with 338 Edge ammunition and was not damaged.

This target was shot with 50 Cal or armor piercing rounds which are illegal at MCSA (Rifle Range Rule 6.a).  People that do this sort of thing are one of the reasons dues keep increasing.

If you see something like this, please report it.  Your name will be kept out of the report.

What report?  See General Rule number 10.

“10. Destruction or mutilation of club property shall be cause for appearance of the Board of Directors for disciplinary action, which may also be cause for arrest and prosecution. Violators will be responsible to pay for damages.”

If you are caught, you most likely will be banned for life from MCSA.  Don’t believe it?  Ask the guys that destroyed a few target stands with ARs.  You’ll have to go to their house since they are no longer members at MCSA.
