MEMBERSHIPS
Mifflin County Sportsmen’s Association memberships provide access to our facilities for 1 person, their spouse, and children 21 years old and under. We offer membership discounts for applicable persons (see membership application for details).
Memberships are for one calendar year from January 1st until December 31st. We do not prorate memberships or offer day passes. A member must sign you in as a guest.
By joining the Mifflin County Sportsmen’s Association as a paid member allows you the opportunity to enjoy your ranges, participate in various events, and support our overall cause.

Membership & Benefits
Members (no guests) have access to over 300 acres for hunting and a catch and release pond.

Guest Shooter Program
Members are always welcome and encouraged to bring a guest, especially during Member’s Week as listed on the Calendar. Guests are welcome any time a range is open to members.
Each 18 year old member or older, per membership, may bring one (1) guest per day visit for a fee of $25 per guest. When a M.C.S.A. Member is sponsoring a Guest Shooter, that Member is totally responsible for the actions of their sponsored Guest Shooter. This is ONLY for shooting on ranges, hunting is NOT permitted.
Any violation committed by any Guest Shooter of the By-Laws, Regulations or Range Safety Rules will result in punishment of the sponsoring M.C.S.A. Member.
Sponsoring M.C.S.A. Members must be with the Guest Shooter always and must be able to maintain normal conversation distance of their Guest when shooting.
The M.C.S.A. Member MUST stop at the Club House, fill out the required envelope and deposit fees before going to any ranges.
The sponsored Guest Shooter MUST have the required Gold pass from the filled-out envelope on their person at all times when on Club property. If your Guest is checked for said pass, and cannot present it when asked, it is required that you pack up your gear and accompany the Range Officer or Director to the Mailbox while proof of payment is obtained. If it is discovered that no Guest pass was obtained, your Guest will have the option of purchasing full price Membership and you may face disciplinary measures regarding your own membership.
Abuse of this program will result in termination of the program!
GUEST SHOOTER ONLINE PAYMENT
Members are now able to pay online for guests.
The process is essentially the same. Fill out the envelope, write CC (credit card) by the $25, put the guest pass on a range bag and the envelope in the mailbox.
Try to buy the pass during the same week, and definitely within one month of when you use it.

Hunting
MCSA has over 350 acres of hunting ground available for members. All PA Game Commission rules are in effect. There are several days during deer season when all ranges are closed and the grounds are reserved exclusively for hunters. Check the calendar for specific information.
Camping
All camping is on a reservation basis and campers must have prior approval from a club officer in order to camp. All fees are due prior to set up. Reservation forms are available from the event organizers or on the club’s web site: mifflincosportsmens.com
All camping is primitive – there are no electrical or water hookups and no waste disposal site. Please dispose of trash in the dumpster provided in front of the Club House. Toilets are available between the rifle range & pistol range and at the rear of the Club House.
Two locations are available: One is located at the rifle range on the hill behind the parking area. Approximately four sites are presently available there now. The other area is the east side (right) of the five-stand range BUT not in front of the five-stand pavilion. Here there is room for 4-6 tents. RVs and travel trailers are only allowed on the hill behind the rifle range.

What is Member's Week?
Member’s Week is the first full week in each month from Monday through Sunday. All ranges are open to members and their guests. We make every effort to ensure that no ranges are under maintenance that week. But please always check the calendar before driving to the club. There are no rentals or matches during Member’s Week. A few weeks per year, our 4H guests may be on one of the ranges. This is usually for two hours on a Tuesday or Wednesday evening.
Do you prorate memberships?
No. In the past we’ve had hunters want to join in mid-November. How much would a semi-private deer lease cost for 350 acres? We’ve also had hunters that were going to take a Fall hunting trip and want to zero their rifles at the longer distances more common for hunting in the west. Memberships are good from January 1 until Dec 31 no matter when you purchase them. The gate code changes on January 1.
Do I have to attend member's meetings or workdays?
No. We have a lot of members that live several hours away. You have to pay your yearly dues and obey the club rules. Also, you do not have to know anyone and get a recommendation. We are a welcoming club. Be respectful and you will have a great time.
Do you allow forced reset triggers and or full auto?
Yes, with restrictions. You are only allowed to use “enhanced triggers” and or full auto on the Shotgun Range or the Pistol Range. You must use your own target stands. Shotgun and pistol shooters have priority if they show up. Under no circumstances are you allowed to “rapid fire” on the Auxiliary Range or the Rifle Range.
Do you have magazine restrictions?
No. Load as many as you want. However, you are not allowed to do “magazine dumps” on the Rifle Range or the Auxiliary Range. If you are firing faster than your skill level permits and hit the uprights or the cross boards on our target backers, you may get an invitation to meet the Board. We will and have suspended members for this infraction. See General Rule #10.
