THERE WILL BE NO SATELLITE VENDOR SALES OF MCSA MEMBERSHIPS THIS YEAR. ALL 2025 MEMBERSHIP FORMS MUST BE PRINTED OFF AND EITHER MAILED IN - OR - BROUGHT TO A MEMBERSHIP MEETING THE FIRST THURSDAY OF EACH MONTH - OR - OCCASIONAL DATES TO BE POSTED ON THE CALENDAR AND THE IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS PAGE WHEN THE GATE WILL BE OPEN TO STOP IN AT THE CLUBHOUSE.

LIFE MEMBERS ARE REQUIRED TO REAPPLY EACH YEAR FOR AN UPDATED MEMBERSHIP CARD AND THE 2025 GATE CODE. FAILURE OF LIFE MEMBERS TO COMPLY WITH THE POLICY OF RENEWING OF YOUR MEMBERSHIP EACH YEAR WILL RESULT IN THE LOSS OF LIFE MEMBERSHIP STATUS.

Membership is valid from January 1 through December 31 of the current year.  Dues are NEVER prorated.

EVERY person applying for Membership MUST fill out the application in its entirety.
Credit Cards are NOT accepted. Follow directions on the application for mail in Membership. When you buy a membership at a Membership meeting,
you must have the 
CORRECT cash, check or money order.  Please bring your completed application to the meeting.
Life members MUST reapply each year to receive a current membership card.

The MCSA proudly supports our Military and Veterans. Active-duty military personnel shall be granted a Membership at no cost for any year in which they are considered to be on active duty, which shall be valid until January 1 of the year following their release from active duty. Family Membership may be obtained for Spouse and legally dependent children up to the age of 18, or 21 if enrolled in an accredited institute of learning for the cost of  $10.00. Proof of active Military service must be provided. This information is never shared with any other source. Membership is available only through mail-in or presented to the Membership Secretary in person at the Membership meeting held on the first Thursday of each month. A self-addressed stamped envelope MUST be included with any mail-in application.

Disabled Veterans, at a rating of 50% or higher may be granted an annual Membership at No Charge, which shall be valid until December 31 of the year Membership is obtained. Family Membership may be obtained for a cost of $10.00 for Spouse and legally dependent up to the age of 18, or 21 if enrolled in an accredited institute of learning. Proof of government-issued disability rating MUST be provided. This information is never shared with any other source.  Membership is available through mail-in or presented to the Membership Secretary in person at the Membership meeting held on the first Thursday of each month. A self-addressed stamped envelope MUST be included with any mail-in application.

MCSA requires ALL Life Members to reapply each year in order to keep their membership current. Please follow the directions on the application form.


Guest Shooter Program

1.   When an MCSA Member is sponsoring a Guest Shooter, that Member is totally responsible for the actions of their sponsored Guest Shooter. This program only applies to the use of ranges; hunting by guests is NOT permitted.

2.   Any violation of the By-Laws, Rules, Regulations, Charter, or Range Safety rules committed by Guest Shooter will result in the punishment of the sponsoring MCSA Member.

3.   Only ONE (1) Guest Shooter per Individual MCSA membership is permitted. Family membership can only sponsor two (2) Guests, one (1) per adult member (example: husband may have (1) Guest Shooter and wife may sponsor (1) Guest Shooter at the same time.) The Spouse MUST BE PRESENT in order to have (2) Guest Shooters. All sponsoring MCSA Members MUST be over the age of (18) eighteen. A Family Member under the age of (18) CAN NOT sponsor a Guest Shooter. The Guest Shooter fee is (10) Ten Dollars per Guest. For example, if the husband sponsors a Guest Shooter (10) ten dollars and the wife sponsors a Guest Shooter (10) dollars - the total due would be (20) Twenty dollars for that day. This is a (1) ONE-day pass ONLY, from sunup to sundown, Sunday shooting rules apply if shooting on Sunday.

4.  Sponsoring MCSA Members must be with the Guest Shooter at all times and always be able to maintain normal conversation distance of their Guest when shooting.

5.   MCSA Member MUST stop at the Clubhouse, fill out the required documents at the desk at the entry doors, and deposit fee envelope into the mailbox at the post to the entryway BEFORE proceeding to any ranges.

ABUSE OF THIS PROGRAM WILL RESULT IN TERMINATION OF THIS PROGRAM


How to Obtain Memberships:

Membership may be obtained before the Membership meeting held on the first Thursday of each month.  You must bring the completed Membership application and correct cash, check, or money order.  You do not need to bring a self-addressed stamped envelope if applying in person at the Membership meeting.

Please watch the Calendar and Important Information tabs of the website for dates to be announced as for Open Gate dates for walk-in purchase of Membership for purchase at the Clubhouse.

THERE ARE NO SATELLITE LOCATIONS AVAILABLE FOR MEMBERSHIP PURCHASE.

You may mail-in your application to the address on the bottom of the application form. Please fill the application out IN ITS ENTIRETY and PRINT clearly. You must include a self-addressed stamped envelope when mailing in your application.

YOU MUST PROVIDE A STAMPED SELF ADDRESSED, ENVELOPE. FAILURE TO DO SO WILL RESULT IN THE DELAY OF YOU RECEIVING YOUR NEW MEMBERSHIP CARD UNTIL WE ARE ABLE TO REACH YOU AND UNTIL WE RECEIVE YOUR STAMPED, SELF-ADDRESSED, ENVELOPE.

PLEASE READ THE "BY-LAWS" AND OTHER "RULES" AND "REGULATIONS" BEFORE PURCHASING A MEMBERSHIP. UPON  PURCHASING A MEMBERSHIP, YOU AGREE AND ARE EXPECTED TO ABIDE BY ANY AND ALL "BY-LAWS AND RULES" OF THE ASSOCIATION IN EFFECT AND WHICH MAY BE PASSED BY AND BOARD AND MEMBERSHIP WHILE YOU ARE A MEMBER.

Membership

Section 1
The membership shall consist of those persons who have paid the specified dues for the current membership year.

  • Adult membership shall be for those people ages 18 and older.
  • Family membership shall be for those people ages 18 and older that have a spouse and or children up to and including the age of 18, living at home or he/she is legally responsible for. Also included shall be those children of the membership holder and his/her spouse up to and including 21 years of age that are attending, full time, any accredited institution of higher learning.

Section 2
Those persons under age 18 do not need a membership but must be accompanied by a person holding a valid Adult membership at all times. The adult member shall be responsible for the actions and safety of all under-age persons under their care while on Association property. An adult member is anyone 18 years of age or older.

Section 3
Active-duty military personnel shall be granted an annual membership at no cost for any year that they are on active duty, which shall be valid until January 1 of the year following their release from active duty.  Must provide proof of active military ID & send self-addressed a stamped envelope. Active military individual membership is complimentary.  To upgrade to include eligible Family members, please, send $10.00 and a self-addressed, stamped envelope.

Section 4
Membership will not be needed when the grounds are declared open to the public for any special event, however, a fee may be charged to enter or participate in order to cover the cost of that event.

Section 5
When anyone purchases, is given, or otherwise LEGALLY secures a membership, guest/spectator pass or is attending an event of this Association, they agree to abide by all of the rules and regulations posted or otherwise set forth in these “By-laws”, this Association, the Pennsylvania Game Commission, the Pennsylvania Fish, and Boat Commission and all other laws of this State and Nation.

If a member or potential member cannot read or fluently communicate in English, they will be required to have an adult translator (age of 18 or older) at all times when utilizing any Association facilities.

Mifflin County Sportsmen’s Association General Rules

1. SAFETY & Courtesy first!

2. Current membership cards must be displayed with number visible while using the premises.
     a) Membership runs from January 1st to December 31st.
     b) Only members may use these ranges except for special events
         with board approval.

3. Close and lock the gate when entering or leaving club property.

4. All junior members must be under the direct supervision of a
parent or an adult.

5. SHOOTING TIMES
      a) Rifle, pistol, trap, five stand and shotgun pattern board.
          Weekdays and Saturdays: One half hour before Sunrise to one half hour after Sunset.
           SUNDAYS: 1:00 PM to one half hour after SUNSET
      c) Archery: Daily: Sunrise to Sunset.

6. Board of directors must approve all organized shoots.

7. Worn side arms must comply with Pennsylvania State Law.

8. Speed limit on club grounds is 10MPH as this is for the safety of all members.

9. Park vehicles in parking lot and designated areas.

10. Destruction or mutilation of club property shall be cause for appearance of the Board of Directors for disciplinary action, which may also be cause for arrest and prosecution. Violators will be responsible to pay for damages.

11. Any violation of club rules may be sufficient cause for disciplinary action and or arrest and prosecution.

12. Please keep grounds clean.

13. No alcoholic beverages are permitted on ranges and parking areas.
